Paul Lowe on Karma

http://www.paullowe.org/

I think most of us in the West think of Karma as something that
catches up with us in our next life? It may not be all like that.

Science says something like:
Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Jesus is quoted as saying: As ye sow, so ye shall reap.
If you bend a piece of metal one way, in order to straighten it,
it needs to be bent an equal amount in the other way.

As I see it, on one level at least, that is the way it is.
And, it can take place in different levels.
So there maybe consequences in our next life –
as well as later in our life – or in each moment.

Have you noticed, when you have a negative thought
there is a type of satisfaction – like appeasing an addiction.
And then there is a feeling of contamination –
like we are poisoning ourselves. Could be that we are –
as well as the other.

When a certain level of sensitivity is realised the process of the mind
is seen more clearly – and it is shocking to see the consequences
of what we think

Another possible aspect of Karma.
Again, in the West there is a tendency to se Karma as personal.
It could be that there are other aspects.
Not only personal, but family, society, religion, companies, and
locations – villages, towns, cities, countries.

How to avoid accumulating personal Karma?
Same old thing – live in unconditional awareness, in each moment.
If something comes up – just be with it. Not supporting or energising it,
not suppressing, not avoiding – just let it be.
When you allow something to just be and go to its limit,
it will drop to the bottom and vanish.

Happy vanishing
